Spencer is an undergraduate civil engineering student at Georgia Tech. He will be graduating this Spring 2019 with a Global Engineering Leadership Minor and pursuing a Master's in Civil Engineering Fall 2019 at Tech (BS/MS program). During his time as an undergrad, he published an article in ENO Transportation Weekly and interned in Budapest, Hungary. He works in the UTIL lab as a research assistant to better understand cyclist exposure and causes of cyclist and causes of cyclist stress. As a research assistant, he codes surveys, collects data, and inputs data into ArcGIS. Spencer's other interests include urban planning, public transit, and bike and pedestrian facilities. He looks forward to reducing traffic and congestion in urban areas through smart urban planning, transit, and bike and pedestrian facilities and can't wait to make cities more walk-able.
